Plato's Corner

I first went to Plato's in 03 or 04, and have loved it ever since. I also had my first gyro here in 07. This place is great, so is the food, and so are the prices. There are two dining rooms, the one you see in the pics is the one with the counter. The other one is through that door in the first picture.

Stern's

I only went to Stern's once, and that was with my buddy Tony and his brother Miguel (Miguel was getting a suit for prom). Inside were some of the nicest suits I've ever seen, made from more colors and type of fabric than I'd ever seen. But not just suits, they also had hats and shoes. Alas, it closed its doors for the last time last year, the recession must have hit the clothing industry especially hard.

First Post!

Well, I've been wanting to have a place to store memories of the town I grew up in before the places and businesses that I know are gone. I started taking pictures last year and putting them on my myspace, but that has trailed off. I hope to make this blog a more successful continuation of that project.
